Ruddy's Roofing drives out to Leander from our Round Rock shop. When you call, Frank answers, his son Jake comes to look at the roof, and you pay nothing for the visit.

Leander saw hail up to 3 inches across on May 16, 2025. The town is young too: 63 percent of its homes were built in 2010 or later.
From Leander, the steps are simple: call, Frank answers, and Jake comes out.
The owner answers our phone. Our contact page has a form if you would rather send a note.
Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM.
Jake checks the full roof, slope by slope, points out the hail damage, and chalks a few hits.
You see a written price before any work, and there is no money due to start.

Your price comes from the size of the roof, how steep it is, and the shingle you choose. When a storm did the damage, a claim may cover much of it, and we go through that with you before you file.
Whether the roof needs work, what kind, and what it will cost, all in writing. A roof in good shape gets a plain answer from Jake and no bill for the trip.
May has brought more of Leander's hail reports since 2000 than any other month of the year.
Leander has had hail in October and November since 2000, though not often. Look for: loose tabs and ridge caps that lift in the wind.
The 2021 winter storm left 8 inches of snow just west of Leander, the Weather Service logged. Look for: shingles blown off by a winter front.
On May 16, 2025, stones up to 3 inches across fell about 3 miles west-northwest of Leander. Look for: dark, bruised patches on the shingles.
Leander summer heat bakes a roof day after day, and shingles can be up to 175 degrees, no matter the color.
Leander homeowners who call Ruddy's Roofing get Frank on the line and Jake at the house, with one crew lead since 2014.
The owner answers the phone himself. One homeowner found us after a large roofer nearby went to an automated system and nobody picked up anymore.
Frank's son Jake comes to look at the roof and then runs the job. He points out the hail damage he finds and puts a chalk mark on a few hits.
We are not a storm crew passing through. Our main crew does the work, and its lead has been with Frank since 2014, the first year of the business. With the crew we use, we have never had any issues. I won't use anyone else.

I heartily recommend Ruddy’s Roofing. Every detail was handled and taken care of beyond my expectations.

No charge to come out. If the roof is fine, that is what we tell you.

We repair shingle roofs: ridge caps, blown off shingles and hail damage.

You cannot see hail damage from the ground. We walk the roof and chalk it.
